SOURCED INFORMATION · INFORMED USE
Privacy policy
Content updated: 25 October 2026. This policy describes data processing in the current VPSA features.
Lookup data
Details you enter, such as the name, product code, manufacturer, batch number and expiry date, are sent to the server for matching. Do not enter patient names, medical records or personal information in product lookup fields.
Lookup statistics store the search input type, result status, alert counts, product category and processing time; this statistics table does not store raw queries or IP addresses. Rate limiting uses a keyed IP fingerprint in temporary memory. Servers, infrastructure providers and access logs may process IP addresses, browser information, paths and access times to provide and protect the service.
Camera and device storage
Barcode scanning requires camera permission from you. Frames are processed in your browser to read the code; the scanning feature does not upload camera images to VPSA. You can stop scanning or revoke camera permission in your browser settings.
VPSA uses a service worker and cache to store the interface, icons and scanning libraries for the PWA. Lookup APIs and alert pages require a connection to read current data. You can clear website data or uninstall the PWA in your browser settings.
Analytics and advertising
The VPSA website on Vercel may use Vercel Web Analytics for visit statistics. See the Vercel Web Analytics privacy information for details on the provider's data processing.
VPSA does not currently use third-party advertising services on this website.
If VPSA introduces advertising or integrates additional third-party services that use cookies or similar tracking technologies, this Privacy Policy will be updated to clearly describe the types of data processed, the purposes of processing and the choices available to users.
Contact and data requests
If you send an email, the operator receives your email address and the information you provide to handle your request. Send only necessary information, not sensitive health data. Operational data and correspondence are handled as needed to resolve requests, protect the system and meet applicable obligations. Specific retention periods depend on infrastructure settings and operating procedures; contact us about your particular case.
You can request review, correction or deletion of information you have sent through the VPSA contact channel. The operator may need information to verify your request.
Contact the operator
Contact VPSA about data errors, explanations, privacy or technical issues.
Email: khumanhan@gmail.com.
Report an alert error
Provide the alert URL, the field to correct, the correct information and a supporting document link. If packaging photos are needed, hide names, phone numbers and personal information. The operator needs to check evidence before correcting or unpublishing content.
Product questions
VPSA helps you read the data in its system; it does not handle recall complaints on behalf of manufacturers or regulators. Direct specialist questions and product handling requests to the organization identified in the original document.
