What is VPSA?
Vietnam Product Safety Alert (VPSA) helps consumers find and read product alerts from government sources. Instead of searching through individual notices, you can compare product names, registration and declaration numbers, barcodes and batch numbers on the packaging.
How can VPSA help?
VPSA organizes documents into searchable information: affected products, reasons for alerts, required measures, batch scope, issue dates and source evidence. Each alert has its own page so you can read it, share it and check the original document.
Where does the data come from?
Current coverage focuses on documents from the Drug Administration of Vietnam (DAV) and the Vietnam Food Administration (VFA). VPSA is an independent information tool, not an official website of these agencies, and does not represent them.
System limitations
- Only documents already collected and published are covered; VPSA does not cover every product or alert in Vietnam.
- Updates may be delayed when sources change, documents await processing or review is required.
- Scanned documents, naming variations, missing identifiers or missing batch numbers can reduce matching accuracy.
- VPSA does not test products, authenticate goods or certify their safety.
Read the lookup methodology and check the data sources before using the results.
